Campsite costs and bookings

Campsite (Access to field & toilet block only):

Scouts & Guides:                                         

£1.00 per person per part day. (up to 4 hrs i.e. morning, afternoon or evening)                                           

£1.50 per person per day (up to 12 hrs)

£2.00 per person per full day (up to 24 hrs)          

Other youth groups:

£1.50 per person part day.  (up to 4 hrs i.e. morning, afternoon or evening)

(£2.00 per person per day (up to 12 hrs)

£2.50 per person per full day (up to 24 hrs)

Additional full 25th Scout HQ hire:

Scouts & Guides:                                               

£30 per part day                                                         

£50 per full day (24 hrs)

Other youth groups:

£50 per part day

£80 per full day (24 hrs).

Note Warrington East & West District Events have free use of the site but a booking form should be completed to secure a reservation.

Pioneering Equipment speak to Chris about using a our wide range of poles, ropes, pulleys, barrels (rafting)  etc.  A fee may be payable.

Warrington Canoeing kit can be hired / supplied for use on the adjoining Bridgewater canal (B1 Water - Permits required). We may be able to supply coaches / permit holders. Contact Mark O’Dell (District Adviser) .  Tel: 01925 330245. Or via Email

Bookings: Check the availability calendar to see if the site is free, note an existing booking may not bar your camp dependant of the size of each booking - there are 3 tent pitching areas on the site.  Chris Jenner our Campsite Manager can always advise on this.  Chris prefers email here failing that Tel: 01925 263943.  

When enquiring state event type, dates & times from to you are interested in and numbers.  

Do you want campsite & toilets?  or campsite & full HQ (kitchen & hall) or 25th HQ only (No campsite activity).

Rubbish:  Very important please bag and remove all rubbish off the campsite, do not use the Scout Hall’s own bins.  Litter pick the site and leave campfire area tidy.  The nearest Refuse Site is at Sandy lane, Stockton Heath, Warrington, WA4 2AY  see  http://www.warrington.gov.uk/homepage/211/recycling_sites  Further waste sites are at Woolston and Gateworth.

The facilities are available for hire to Scouts and other youth groups. You can choose from three levels of site provision:

1. Use of the campsite including male and female toilets and showers on site (Disabled toilet and shower wet room available).

2. Full use of the 25th Warrington East Scout HQ., including hall, toilets and full kitchen etc.

3. Book both the HQ and the campsite together. (Scout HQ could be booked for indoor only events).
